The Interview
After I got divorced, I felt like the Rip Van Winkle of dating. I could not believe how different everything was in the dating world and began writing about my experiences. When I received an email about a free seminar from PAX Programs introducing their Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women workshop, I decided to check it out. Alison was the speaker and facilitator, and I was amazed at what I was hearing. I realized that by promoting peace within relation ships between men and women—the company is called PAX, after all—peace could spread more widely into society. Ending the war of the sexes might not end all wars, but it’s a start. I took a few of the workshops and was fortunate to have Alison as a teacher, so I asked her if she would be interested in sharing her epiphany. We conducted our interview on the phone several months later.
