Stacey Lannert is a speaker, an author, and the founder of the nonprofit organization Healing Sisters, for people who have suffered sexual abuse. She also trains service dogs for the handicapped and teaches aerobics. She is the co-author of the book Redemption, about her journey of self-discovery and forgiveness. The Interview
I had never heard of Stacey until my editor suggested that I might be interested in speaking with her. I was fascinated by her story and had the opportunity to meet her in person in New York after we spoke on the phone. For all of the upheaval in her life, she has a particular way about her that is very calming. It’s as if she knows grace “in her cells.” Her attitude about life, her strength, and especially her thoughts on choice and perspective continue to inspire me.
